The Old School House Llanbrynmair

The Old School House has a 4 star grading by Visit Wales Tourism, it is situated in the beautiful Pennant Valley, close to the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park, making this the ideal location to explore this wonderful scenic area of Wales, whether by bike, foot or in a vehicle. We can arrange onward transportation of your luggage, if your touring the area and don't want to carry it with you. Well behaved dogs are also welcome to stay, but will sleep in the outhouse, as they aren't allowed in the main house. Accommodation consists of two comfortable bedrooms, one twin and one king-sized double, both have flat screen Freeview television, and teacoffee making facilities. Both rooms have exclusive use of a family-sized bathroom. Guests are welcome to relax in our large conservatory, that looks out onto the garden and surrounding hills. Access to free wi-fi is available throughout The Old School House. If you want to relax after a days exercise or sightseeing, Karen will cook you a two course evening meal for £12.50 per head, she can also provide a packed lunch if required at a cost of £5.00. Whether it's Karen's welsh cooked breakfast (made from locally sourced ingredients), the coast or the countryside, the area has so much to offer that you will find it hard to leave, and so easy to return, whatever the season. Directions

From the SouthFrom the A44, Rhayader to Aberystwyth turn right at the roundabout at Llangurig onto the A489 A470. At the roundabout on the Llanidloes bypass turn left and then turn right at the mini roundabout, go over the River Severn bridge and immediately turn left onto the B4518. Continue for 11 miles, passed Lyn Clywdog Reservoir and Staylittle, as you enter Pennant; take the first turning on your left (30 yards passed Pennant sign). The Old School House is 200 metres along the road on the right.From the NorthFrom Newtown proceed along the A489 towards Llangurig Llanidloes, after about 6 miles turn right onto the A470 (just before railway level crossing). Continue through village called Carno, and after about 3 miles at Talerddig fork left sign posted Bont Dolgadfan. Continue through Bont Dolgadfan and turn left at the T-Junction (B4518). Proceed to Pennant, drive over the bridge, then up the hill and turn first right into a no through road. The Old School House is 200 metres along the road on the right.
